OUR PHILOSOPHY The desire of this organization is to provide the families in our community with an educational program facilitated in a positive, sound, nurturing environment that is conducive to learning and discovering.
Our goal is to assist parents with their God-mandated responsibilities of teaching and training their children. We unite with the parents to support and encourage the formation of Godly values that will foster the growth of the whole child--ultimately that they would find their place in God’s world.

STAFF Highly qualified instructors staff Kids Kount. Our teachers have the educational background, experience, and training to help our students reach their full potential.
We provide several annual staff in-service trainings to further the knowledge of the staff in the area of child development. We have regularly scheduled staff meetings with occasional guest speakers.
Kids Kount is periodically inspected by our regulatory agencies to insure the best for children in the areas of health, safety, and specific requirements mandated by State standards.
FORMS All prospective families will interview with the Director and tour the school prior to enrollment. Applications for admission may be accepted at this time.
FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD AND IN ORDER TO COMPLY WITH STATE REGULATIONS, ALL ENROLLMENT FORMS (AVAILABLE ONLINE OR FROM THE SCHOOL OFFICE) MUST BE COMPLETED, SIGNED AND ON FILE AT KIDS KOUNT BEFORE YOUR CHILD MAY ATTEND HIS/HER FIRST DAY OF CLASS.
DISCIPLINE At Kids Kount preschool and kindergarten we recognize that positive discipline teaches and encourages the healthy development of each child. Our caregivers praise and call attention to appropriate behavior and act as Christian role models in order to influence and reinforce a child’s behavior in a positive manner.
Our class groups have developmentally appropriate behavior management systems designed to encourage acceptable interactions among the children. Our overall objective is to train each child to use self-initiated thinking skills leading to monitoring their own self-control. This fosters the student in learning how to make socially acceptable decisions and choices later in life.
There are times that a child will need a time of “self reflection”. This time offers the child an opportunity to regain his/her self control and consider various options when interacting with others.
The use of corporal punishment or any physical discipline methods by Kids Kount caregivers is not allowed.
In order to provide a safe environment for all, students are not permitted to hit or otherwise endanger the physical well being of other students or staff. Verbal threats and other inappropriate language will not be tolerated. Parents will be notified in person and in writing should these events occur.
Finally, a written notice and direction will be given to the family if the Director and staff of Kids Kount determine that the attendance of your child in the school is not beneficial for your child. The following factors may determine the continued attendance of the child:
1. Severe anxiety regarding the separation of the child from the family. 2. The child is unable to benefit from the academic program. 3. The child demonstrates continuous uncontrollable behavior. 4. Chronic illness, resulting in extended absences. 5. The parent is not pleased with the program.
Kids Kount's educational philosophy involves working along with the home in the overall Christian education of students. On occasion this cooperation between the school and home may become difficult. To avoid such situations, the school requires parents enrolling their children (or to maintain enrollment) to affirmatively support and cooperate with the school.
TUITION Tuition is billed weekly in advance. Registration is billed annually at the traditional start of the school year. Further information is available from the Kids Kount office.
