Powerhouse Homeless Transition Center Fridge Project
Students at Kids Kount Preschools are currently working to raise funds to purchase two refrigerators for the Powerhouse Homeless Transition Center in Folsom, a program of Powerhouse Ministries that provides food, shelter, and life "tools" to homeless families who are looking to change their lives and build a brighter future. Each week, Kids Kount students turn in banks filled with change and watch the "thermometer" (located in the school office) rise towards their $1000 goal.
